Another Scrapbook Layout

Today I have another layout for Lucy's album.  Dressed in her "best" witches outfit ready to go to her friends Halloween party.

I used Basic Black card for the base with some of the soon to be retired Cheerful Treat hostess exclusive papers. I added some black scalloped polka dot ribbon to keep with the "spotty" theme. The colours are Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Lucky Limeade and Melon Mambo.

Although the picture is not that clear here, Lucy's shoes are very glittery and sparkly!!

Summer Scrapbooking

I have been spending time scrapbooking lately and I have completed quite a few layout I will share with you soon.  These photo's are from my mum's garden in June this year, usually there is a lot more colour in her garden but many of the plants have not bloomed as well as usual due to the wet weather this year.

I have used the pretty hostess exclusive papers Cheerful Treat for my layout, with Rose Red, Elegant Eggplant, Pear Pizzaz and Whisper White.

I used a retired stamp set to stamp the background flowers with Rose Red ink.

Here are the pages together, I made a few paper roses and used the Bird Punch to make the leaves.

I used the Labels Collection framelits dies and Apothecary stamp set for my journalling, colouring the flowers with Stampin' Write marker pens.

I have wanted to make a layout of my mum's garden for quite some time but I never got around to taking photos at the right time - my mum does all of her own gardening (there's a lot of grass to cut too) and  prefers "cottage garden" style flowers.

Birthday Princess

Philip was invited to another party last week and this is the card I made for his little friend.

This week at A La Card Monkey they have a great sketch for inspiration - it is quite sometime since I managed to join in with a challenge, so I will enter my card into this week's challenge, there is a nice and simple sketch for inspiration.

I used the really cute Little Princess stamp set - I coloured the image with Stampin' Up! watercolour pencils and a blender pen.

The pretty papers are from the exclusive hostess designer papers Cheerful Treat with some of the lovely polka dot Elegant Eggplant ribbon.  The image was punched with the largest circle and layered with the new large scallop punch, I added some small flowers made with the Itty Bitty punches. The sentiment is another hostess exclusive - Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set.
