Your Next Stamp Challenge 8 ......

There is a new challenge for you today at Your Next Stamp Challenges, the theme for challenge 8 has been set by owner Karen.    Karen would love to see "SPARKLE"!!!

I have used my favourite Your Next Stamp "Cup Cake Fhiona", she is such a sweetie, included in the set are 6 sentiment stamps, making the set excellent value  as the sentiments can be used with other stamps too!!!

As usual I have coloured Fhiona with my promarkers, and I have added lots of  sparkle (my favourite)  using copic spica pens, glamour dust, stickles stardust glitter glue and glossy accents!!  Well a girl can never have too much sparkle!!!  The papers are MME Pretty Please, which are a freebie on this months Cardmaking & Papercrafts magzine (UK), DCWV c/s, nesties, MS doillie punch, pearls, ribbon with a sparkly edge.

A close up of some of the Sparkle, copic spica for her top, glossy accents shoes & hair band, glamour dust for the icing on her cake!!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge 22, Last One For This Year .....

This is my first card as  a design team member for Truly Scrumptious!!  I am so delighted to be working with so many talented ladies!! This week we have another great sketch with the added challenge of using vellum on your card, as it is the last challenge of the year you have until January 5th 2010 to enter the challenge.  As always there are some fantastic cards from the design team, you can see thm here.

The challenge is sponsored by Whimsey Stamps, and one lucky winner chosen by random org will win these  two cute stamps!!

I have followed the sketch and made a calendar, using a scrap of vellum with stars on for the background as my added challenge!! As always I have used promarkers to colour C.C Designs Swiss pixie, papers are MME, DCWV c/s, card candy.

I am also entering my calendar in the Passion for Promarkers "Megga Christmas Challenge", as the theme is anything but a card with a Christmas/New Year theme.

Combined Challenges .....

I have had alot of fun making this card and for the first time I have combined 6 challenges,

Just Magnolia week 20 "button & bows" I have used Tilda in Sprng Rain, buttons & ribbon.

Passion for Promarkers week 15 "girly & glitttery", this weeks sponsor is The Secret Crafter they have 6 promarkers of your choice on offer!! My colours are warm grey 1-5, black, blossom, rose pink.

Sketch & Stash week 18, I have used the sketch provided to make my card and my new nesties.

A Spoonful of Sugar challenge 67 "distressing" sponsored this week by Digital Delights.

Creative Card Crew challenge 26 "pink, black & white" colours to be used, sponsored by Whimsey Stamps.

Cupcake Craft Challenges challenge 55 a recipie, 3 buttons, 2 papers, 1 ribbon, this week is sponsored by Elaine at Quixotic Cards £10 voucher for her on-line store. I have shopped here before and there are some gorgeous products and I have always had excellent service!!

So thats quite a few challenges here!! I have used Tilda coloured with promarkers, glossy accents for the puddle, paper is BG sultry & DCWV card stock, it was quite a novelty to make only 2 papers work for the challenge, but as distressing was one of the challenges I used a distressing tool around the pannel and a brown ink pad and chalks to give the edges and flowers a distressed look. I have used stickles stardust around the edge of the pink frame, cut with nesties, ribbon, gems, buttons, retro flower punch.

I thought Tilda in Spring Rain is just perfect for the weather at the moment, we have been lucky today as we have had a lovely day at York with friends and the weather stayed dry, alothough its pouring down again now!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Angela xx
