Cup Cake Craft Challenge's 75 ......

The challenge this week at Cup Cake Craft Challenges is to make a "matching set", this week the sponsor of the challenge is In Style Stamps.  Although my cards are not exactly the same they are made as a gift set, so I hope this counts!!

I have been working on this set for a week as a little Thank You gift for one of the kind mum's at the children's school.  During the cold snowy weather my car was off the road and I had no courtesy car either, so I was ever so grateful for the lifts to and from school!!

I used a selection of my stamps (list at end of post) and based the colours around the PM Blueberry Hill papers of which I have mixed and matched the patterns.  The images are coloured with promakers, glossy accents, stickles, ribbons, gems, charms, M/S valentine heart punch, flowers, craftwork cards sentiments and card candy.

I made a matching gift bag to put the cards and envelopes in from a sheet of A4  card covered with more of the saame PM papers, M/S valentine heart boreder punch, card candy and some gorgeous sparkly ribbon.

I will take them to school tomorrow for her as fingers crossed after another trip to the garage all seems well, I have got beyond the three day point!!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Angela xx

A New Baby Boy Card ......

I have made this card for the following challenges;

Create 4 Fun challenge 23, I have used Bev's nice and simple sketch.

Cupcake Challenges 72 "a baby card".

Stampin for the Weekend "new beginings".

Papertake Weekly "new Beginings"

Crazy 4 Challenges, "Polka Dot Fun"

By the Cute and Girly, something "new"

I have used the gorgeous "vintage baby" stamp from Sugar Nellie, coloured with promarkers, copic spica glitter pens, nesties, MME wild asparagus papers, DCWV c/s, ribbon, gems.

I thought I would post a picture of the snowy trees at the back of our garden, they do look lovely but getting to school was hard work today!!  I have had to put Philip into his 3 wheel pushchair and it just about managed to get through the snow but it was very slippy as there is ice under the fresh snow, if we get much more I think we will have to stay home.  I dont like driving in the snow, but as my car has been in the garage for 2 weeks, I just need it back to get around!!

We dont seem to have a problem with salt here, so I guess that is lucky, we have had days when no roads have been gritted, but again today they have gritted my road as both ways in and out are a long hill, they had filled the salt bin on the corner too, so I went out to get a little just to keep things clear for carrying Philip in and out, last week there wasn't a grain left but it was interesting to see how many had lovely clean drives while the road is packed with ice!!!  If that wasn't enough I saw a man pull up in his car in the lane at the school and get out a "large" bag and spade and fill his bag to take home!!  There are 2 schools and nursing home using the lane!!

Hope the snow is not too bad where you are, take care,

Angela  xx

Limited Edition Skating Ellie .....

I have made this card for the following challenges;

Your Next Stamp 3, Christmas with a twist you are not allowed to use any red or green on your Christmas card or creation.

Create 4 Fun week 46, I have used their sketch to help create my layout.

Cupcake Craft Challenges 65, "digital images".

Allsorts week 27, " anything made for a child".

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 58, "four seasons"

Charisma Cardz challenge 45, "merry and bright".

I have used the really cute limited edition digi download Skating Ellie, coloured with promarkers, copic spica glitter pens, papers are MME colourful christmas, DCWV c/s, ribbon,  gems, twinklets for the ice.

There are some really cute Christmas digi images available to buy for a limited time from Your Next Stamp.

Well the party was a success as the girls loved the shrink plastic charms they made but the noise!!  We needed more time to make bracelets, so I gave the girls them to take home my poor head  couldn't have managed another 5 minutes!! So today I have booked Philip a soft play party, unfortunately it will be 2 weeks after his birthday as they are fully booked for next January!!?

Lucy had a lovely birthday, thank you to everyone who left birthday messages or entered my candy giveaway!!

Hope you had a good weekend, thanks for stopping by,

Combined Challenges .....

I have had alot of fun making this card and for the first time I have combined 6 challenges,

Just Magnolia week 20 "button & bows" I have used Tilda in Sprng Rain, buttons & ribbon.

Passion for Promarkers week 15 "girly & glitttery", this weeks sponsor is The Secret Crafter they have 6 promarkers of your choice on offer!! My colours are warm grey 1-5, black, blossom, rose pink.

Sketch & Stash week 18, I have used the sketch provided to make my card and my new nesties.

A Spoonful of Sugar challenge 67 "distressing" sponsored this week by Digital Delights.

Creative Card Crew challenge 26 "pink, black & white" colours to be used, sponsored by Whimsey Stamps.

Cupcake Craft Challenges challenge 55 a recipie, 3 buttons, 2 papers, 1 ribbon, this week is sponsored by Elaine at Quixotic Cards £10 voucher for her on-line store. I have shopped here before and there are some gorgeous products and I have always had excellent service!!

So thats quite a few challenges here!! I have used Tilda coloured with promarkers, glossy accents for the puddle, paper is BG sultry & DCWV card stock, it was quite a novelty to make only 2 papers work for the challenge, but as distressing was one of the challenges I used a distressing tool around the pannel and a brown ink pad and chalks to give the edges and flowers a distressed look. I have used stickles stardust around the edge of the pink frame, cut with nesties, ribbon, gems, buttons, retro flower punch.

I thought Tilda in Spring Rain is just perfect for the weather at the moment, we have been lucky today as we have had a lovely day at York with friends and the weather stayed dry, alothough its pouring down again now!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Angela xx
