Autumn and Winter Launch Party

I have been busy creating lots of NEW projects using fabulous new products from the Stampin' Up! Autumn  & Winter seasonal catalogue to share with the ladies attending my launch party this afternoon.

I gave everyone who attended a goody bag with their make & take projects and of course a copy of the Autumn and Winter catalogue and the NEW 2012-2013 Annual Catalogue!!!  Everyone was impressed with the size of the new catalogue - this year it is filled with so many more fabulous new products - I'm sure there will be some huge wishlists written out tonight!!

This card is very similar to one in the A&W seasonal catalogue, using the fabulous Perfectly Preserved stamp set with the matching Cannery framelits.

This card is one I "CASED" from one of the Stampin' Success magazines that Stampin' Up! send to demonstrators every month.

A decorated pouch cut with the exclusive Petal Cone die, with some of the gorgeous glittered papers and after a lot of searching a candy cane for the top of it. Perfect for hanging on the Christmas tree.

I would like to thank everyone for coming along and making it a wonderful afternoon, places are booking quickly for my next workshop on 20th October if you would like come along please contact me to book your place.

Summer Workshop

I have only just realised this post hadn't published I guess Blogger has been up to no good again?

Yesterday afternoon I had a lovely group of ladies attend my workshop and I think given the stormy weather it was the best place to be!!

Everyone got their own Blossom punch to take home after the workshop along with a kit containing everything needed for the projects.

I usually make a few cards to share at my workshop for inspiration, as I have a a group of  very creative ladies who will share some fabulous designs of their own during the workshop.

I chose the exclusive Petal Cone die for my 3D projects, using it in different ways so the ladies could see what a great addition to their craft room this would be.

I demonstrated the ruffled flowers made with the Blossom punch and the Petal Cone die was altered to make a vase.

A petal cone box to hang, with another blossom flower.

Petal cone die altered to make a "take out" style box.

The colours for the workshop were Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White - many of the ladies commented on the colours and how much they liked them. I used the matching Bright Blossoms stamp set with the punch (now on many "wish lists"!) along with the lovely Curly Cute stamp set.

If you are local to me and would like to join one of my workshops please contact me to book your place. I will be adding dates for my Autumn / Winter workshops later this week and places do fill up quickly.

I'm sorry to be missing again, life just doesn't slow down, hopefully school finishes next week & I will have a bit more free time??  I am busy making things to sell at a craft fair on Sunday at Marton Country Club, it was a last minute decision to attend, so rather hectic but I will share some of the things soon.

Easter Treats

I have made a few boxes for some Easter treats using the exclusive Stampin' Up! petal cone die, I have seen various uses for this die but I thought the carrot was a fun idea, these boxes are a good size when put together like this.

I used some Tangerine tango and Lucky Limeade card to make a "carrot", although it doesn't show up well in my photo I have embossed the card with the Polka Dots embossing folder.  I filled the box with some mini cream eggs and threaded Old Olive grosgrain ribbon through the top of the box to close it, I made the "leaves" with the Fun Flowers die.

I will hopefully finish making the last few Easter gifts tomorrow and I will share them as soon as I get the photographed - if only the "ironing fairy" had been!!

Happy Birthday Lucy

Today is Lucy's 10th Birthday, I can't believe how quickly this has come round!!

I made a Birthday banner to hang over the fireplace using the new Sizzix Pennants die, Timeless Type Alphabet sizzlit dies and the Tags for All sizzlit die. I threaded the pennants on to silver cord and tied small pieces of gorgeous Elegant Eggplant scalloped ribbon - just gorgeous in every colour!

I have used the gorgeous new Cheerful Treat hostess papers throughout my designs, I have to admit I wasn't too keen on this paper when I first saw it - but now I LOVE IT!!!!!
The colours are beautiful and perfect so many occasions.

Here is a close up of the cute owl, made with the Owl punch, I dressed her up with some flowers punched with the Itty Bitty punch and of course Dazzling Diamonds glitter and some gems!!  I added some leaves from the Bird punch and layered it with the scallop circle punch.

A closer view of the diamension of this card and a little of the inside of the card.

The Pennant punch was used for the bunting on the card, I used the Just Perfect alphabet stamps, the flowers are again from the Itty Bitty Bits punch set with of course more sparkly gems for some bling!

I made the treat holders with the NEW Petal Cone die - so many new products, so little time!!

I made a gift bag from a single sheet of 12 x 12 paper, the papers really are quite thick, I used them with the Pillow Box die to make a pretty gift box.

I know it has been some time since I up-dated my blog, but I just seem to have been so busy lately. I have been creating a lot of different projects and future classes as I will be off to Paris to the European Stampin' Up! Convention at Disneyland Paris!!!

I am really looking forward to spending a few well earned days away with so many other ladies all "obsessed" with Stampin' Up!  I will scheduale a few posts once I know it is safe to share my swaps and gifts!!
