The Next Level Challenge 4

This is my entry for the Next Level challenge, this week there are two options you can make either a free standing pop-up card or a Stair step fold card which is the one I have chosen to do. Excellent templates are included on the challenge page, with clear instructions and photgraphs to make both cards.

I have used DCWV card stock, K &Co Hopscotch papers, Woodware Playtime clear stamp set, Glossy Accents, Ultra Fine Glitter, Sizzix sizzlits Smart Guy alphabet, I coloured the image with water colour pencils. On my card I have added a larger pannel with foam pads for the "Thank You" on the back fold, I used the glossy accents here and sprinkled them with fine glitter whist still wet.

I have made this card especially to send to the charity that has just awarded some funding to help provide an adapted trike for my little boy and thought the stamps were perfect, they sit just right in the folds. I have not made a card like this but it was simple to do and looks very effective.

I think I will have to try and make the free standing pop-up card as the DT cards are beautiful. Thank You.
