Fast and Fabulous

I have been having a "play" with my new colour spritzer tool from Stampin! Up, it is so quick and easy to use with the stampin' write marker pens, and it will also work with pro markers, so I will be trying it with them over the neext few days!!  I'm sure most things will be spritzed if they keep still long enough!!

I used the new level 2 hostess stamp set Fast & Fabulous, stamping the first layer in Soft Suede and then the second detail in Early Expresso, using both colours in the marker pens to spritz over the card along with Blush Blossom.  The edges of the layers are torn and distressed with the tool kit, layered on to some of the Neutrals 12x12 papers, all tied together with some Very Vanilla taffetta ribbon.  I t was a nice quick card to make!!

I have had a couple of busy weeks, with school activities and poorly children and I'm afraid not much time to do much crafting, so most of my cards have gone out in a hurry before I had time to photograph them!! I think Lucy will be well enough to make a start on clearing up her room tomorrow, its amazing how she suddernly feels ill when I mention this!!

Hope you stay safe & warm and have a very Merry Christmas!!

Happy Birthday Julie

Today my lovely downline Julie is celebrating her birthday.  I have made this card using one of her favourite colours and used a tall blank for a bit of a change.

I have used the beautiful level 2 hostess stamp set Fast & Fabulous, and used a water brush with the marker pens to colour the image, the sentiment is from  the versatile Sincere Salutations stamp set, layered with the oval punches,  the lovely boarder was made with the new scallop trim boarder punch.

Have a great day Julie!!

Inspired by the Big freeze

I thought I would share some more punch art with you, I have really enjoyed using my Stampin' Up! punches to create something new. I have used several different punches to make some Penguins, I'm sure if this weather keeps up I will spot some in my garden soon!!!  It is so cold out there!!

The papers are form the Jolly Holiday Christmas collection, with some gorgeous Old Olive satin ribbon and a punched Very Vanilla border layered under the ribbon.  I thought the penguin looked cute balanced on the top of the presents, I used Old Olive taffeta ribbon here. Crystal effects has been added to the eyes to give them a raised finish.

Punches used are the extra large oval, 1/8", 1/4", 1/2",  11/4" circles, star and 5petal flower punch.

I have a mountain of ironing I'm hoping to get through this weekend!!!  Then I think I'm going to take advantage of being stuck at home and get on with wrapping some of the Christmas presents I have bought.  Hope you all have a good weekend and stay safe and warm.
