Another scrapbook layout of Lucy, she was around 15 months old when this photo was taken and she had just started to walk confidently - I remember it was a mild January day and I left her buggy in the car to go to the local shops. She was a "tiny tot" wearing 6-9 months clothes - now she is almost as tall as me at 11?!

Candy Treats

Today I have some sweet gifts I made for all of the ladies at my workshop on Saturday. I used the exclusive Stampin' Up! Candy Wrapper die so they were fairly quick and easy to make.

I love the new flower trim from the Spring and Summer catalogue.

I filled the boxes with some Hershey Kisses adding a punched circle of paper on the base.

  • Hearts a Flutter Stamp set and matching Framelits
  • More Amore designer paper
  • Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Primrose Petals
  • Lacy Brocade embossing folder, Candy Wrapper die, flower trim.
It was a lovely end to the first half term of the new year at school last week - Philip got his new wheelchair!!!  There was a lot of excitement around the school and the local paper came along to take some photos, at least Philip was happy about this but I prefer to stay in the background?!

Stampin' Up! Papillon Potpourri Workshop

Sorry of the lack of posts this last week but I have been busy preparing  projects and kits for my first Stampin' Up! workshop of 2013.  Everyone made this gorgeous gift bag and a set of matching cards, this is a project that was shared by my upline Julie. You can see Julie;s projects here.

Everyone had their own goodie bag filled with enough Stampin' Up! products to make more than one of these sets.

The Natural Composition papers were loved by all of the ladies and they were delighted to find they are actually more like card than papers, so a perfect choice to use for making gift bags or boxes!!

  • Papillon Potpourri stamp set,
  • Natural Composition designer papers
  • Primrose Petals, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
  • Blossom punch, large butterfly punch, small butterfly punch
  • Vintage Faceted Buttons
I will be emailing the remaining workshop dates for 2013 later this week - places are limited and fill up quickly so contact me to secure your place.

I am placing another Stampin' Up! order this week, if you would like to add anything, let me know - FREE postage if you can collect from me!!  Don't forget for every £45 you spend you can get a FREE sale-a-bration product.

Another scrapbook layout from out trip to London - there are so many photo's I want to make layouts with. I need another scrapbook album for this trip and the linen ring binder albums from Stampin' Up! are beautiful, they are so easy to move your layouts around as you add more.

This page shows Lucy's hot chocolate and cake she had at the Garden Cafe after our trip to  Buckingham Palace. The glittered crown is a "pull tab" for the hidden journalling - Lucy got the very last chocolate cake that afternoon.

  • Pool Party, Island Indigo, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
  • Letter It stamp set
  • Chocolate Chip ribbon, Paper Flowers, Basic Pearls, Re-inker

Jems Blog Hop

Welcome to the Jems blog hop today we are sharing NEW products for the gorgeous NEW Spring and Summer seasonal catalogue from Stampin' Up!

If you have arrived from the lovely Rebekha's blog then I'm sure you will have seen some beautiful projects there!!

I have a decorated frame to share today using products from the NEW Spring and Summer catalogue. I have painted, sanded and inked the frame to take away the "bright white" it used to be and of course I added tome sparkle too!!

I LOVE the new Primrose Petals core d'inations card, it looks lovely embossed and sanded, many of the pretty embelishments are from the fabulous Artisan Kit, it has so many  beautiful bits and pieces, just enough for a special project. Have I told you yet I LOVE the Honeycomb embossing folder too!!

Here you can see more depth to the frame, the glitter frame was silver and I coloured it with a Satmpin' Write marker pen in Primrose Petals, the lovely banner is cut using the new framelits and of course the bunting punch.

The little pin wheel is going to be seen on a lot of my projects another must have from the new Spring and Summer catalogue.

I think my frame was a bit of a bargain at £1.99 and looks much better with a Stampin' Up! make over!!

  • Primrose Petals, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
  • More Amore designer paper, red and silver glimmer paper
  • Hearts a Flutter satmps and Framelits
  • Honeycomb embossing folder
  • Artisan Embelishments Kit, Crumb Cake seam binding

Now its time to hop on to the next blog to see the beautiful creations from Nicky.
