Mini Scrapbook School House

Well I do seem to be a bit more organised with my blog this week and decided to schedule a couple of posts as I have been really busy making projects lately but I have just not had the time to share them here.

This is a mini scrapbook project I first saw Michelle Last demonstrate at the Stampin' Up! European Convention last November.  It is very simple to make and Michelle has kindly shared her instructions.

This is my house all closed up with its roof on....

I used the brightly coloured Celebrations designer papers with the matching quick accents  - there are two sheets of 12x12 adhesive strips and die cuts in each pack.

I used small photos left over from the pack of school photos of Lucy as they were just the right size and didn't need much trimming,  These papers are perfect for my school theme and I added some die cuts to the pictures so I could put Lucy's age next to the photo - it doesn't seem 5 minutes since she started school, never mind almost 5 years!!

The "roof" also doubles as a card so you can add your message or add a little bit of journaling as I did.  It is nice to sometimes make a project without any stamping!!

If you would like to see  Michelle's Scrapbook House's please visit her blog.

It is the second meeting of my new Scrapbook Club on Friday night. I am really enjoying my scrapbooking, I just wish I had made more of an effort to do something with all of those photos left in the cupboard or even worse stored on the computers - never printed!! If you would like to join my Scrapbook club please contact me for details - kits can also be purchased via mail order.

I would like to welcome my friend Liz to Stampin' Up! this week.  Liz has finally decided to join my team of Sparkly Angels!!  I am looking to develop my team further this year, so if you are looking to do something with your hobby, why not contact me and become an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator??

If you sign up before the end of February you can choose an extra stamp set FREE worth up to £44.95 - making the starter kit increddible value as you will receive almost £270 worth of Stampin' Up! products for just £119 - giving you the perfect oppourtunity to get your new venture off to a great start!!

Hi Angela,
What a fantastic project this is. I love the way it opens out to reveal the images and the fact that the roof is a card is fabulous. I love it.
Hugs,
