Scrapbooking

Another scrapbook layout from out trip to London - there are so many photo's I want to make layouts with. I need another scrapbook album for this trip and the linen ring binder albums from Stampin' Up! are beautiful, they are so easy to move your layouts around as you add more.

This page shows Lucy's hot chocolate and cake she had at the Garden Cafe after our trip to  Buckingham Palace. The glittered crown is a "pull tab" for the hidden journalling - Lucy got the very last chocolate cake that afternoon.

Jems Blog Hop

Welcome to the Jems blog hop today we are sharing NEW products for the gorgeous NEW Spring and Summer seasonal catalogue from Stampin' Up!

If you have arrived from the lovely Rebekha's blog then I'm sure you will have seen some beautiful projects there!!

I have a decorated frame to share today using products from the NEW Spring and Summer catalogue. I have painted, sanded and inked the frame to take away the "bright white" it used to be and of course I added tome sparkle too!!

I LOVE the new Primrose Petals core d'inations card, it looks lovely embossed and sanded, many of the pretty embelishments are from the fabulous Artisan Kit, it has so many  beautiful bits and pieces, just enough for a special project. Have I told you yet I LOVE the Honeycomb embossing folder too!!

Here you can see more depth to the frame, the glitter frame was silver and I coloured it with a Satmpin' Write marker pen in Primrose Petals, the lovely banner is cut using the new framelits and of course the bunting punch.

The little pin wheel is going to be seen on a lot of my projects another must have from the new Spring and Summer catalogue.

I think my frame was a bit of a bargain at £1.99 and looks much better with a Stampin' Up! make over!!

Pleasant Poppies

Pleasant Poppies is another new stamp that has been waiting to be inked, it is one of the very large single stamps in the annual catalogue. I coloured the poppies with maker pens and a water brush, then spritzed some ink to soften the background.

I have a few more cards to share using this stamp as I found there are so many different ways you can use this stamp.

I have not been enjoying this cold snowy weather this week I hope it warms up soon!! At least I have an excuse to stay home and craft. Create A Cupcake

Here is the card and matching Birthday banner I made for Lucy's birthday in November (eek!).

This was a  really easy to card to make and looks very effective.

Here is the matching banner I made, which is now proudly displayed in here bedroom.

Ornament Framelits are not just for Christmas!!  I used them to make this decoration with some of the colourful Patio Party papers.

Angry Birds Punch Art

Today is Philip's 7th Birthday, he is a fan of the Angry Birds game so I decided I would make a punch art birthday card for him. There are many versions on the web but this is my own creation using many different Stampin' Up! punches and card scraps.

It was time consuming but I think the result is worth while, the "chalk board" greeting is something I have seen a lot recently and I have a few other cards planned to try this out with.

This is the birthday banner for Philip with the characters on the end of the banner, I hope it will look nice hanging in Philip's bedroom.

I don't think Philip could ask for more for his birthday - yesterday his new wheelchair was ordered and should arrive at school in 4-6 weeks!!!  The amazing support from everyone who gave so generously meant that the full amount was raised (confirmed this week) to buy his new wheelchair in just over two weeks, more than we would have ever expected!!
