Sweet and Sour Embossing Class

On Friday evening I had a class with one of my regular gruops of ladies who wanted to try using the embossing folders with ink.  My inspiration for the class came frome the gorgeous colours of the Sweet and Sour designer papers from Stampin' Up!

The projects are fairly simple to make and this week we had no stamping on any of the projects!!!

This card uses the is really quick to make, with the emboslit flower glued in the bottom corner to add diamension to the card base, the ribbon is Rich Razzleberry taffetta.

For this card we inked the raised surface of the Manhattan Flowers embossing folder before embossing a piece of designer paper, this adds depth to the de-embossed finish. The flowers were cut out and a gorgeous satin flat bow added to the bottom of the card.

The square lattice folder was inked and the card was embossed, then a sponge dauber was used to define the edges of the card.  The little treat bag was made using the Top Note die - exclusie to Stampin' Up! Flowers were punched using co-ordinating papers with the Boho Blossom punch.

The colours used are Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink and Rich Razzleberry.

I had very inky fingers at the end of Friday nights class, fortunately I wasn't going out onSaturday - they did eventually come clean!!
