Birthday Wishes

Today is Sarah-Jane's birthday, so of course a pretty card was needed!!

I used the cute Everybunny stamp set,it is a really cute set and this image is perfect for Birthday cards.

The colours are my favourite Pool Party, calypso Coral and Lucy Limeade.
I stamped the image with Basic Grey ink on to water coluri paper and coloured it with Stampin' Write markers, lightly sponging the background.

The card base is Pool Party stamped with  flowers from the Growing Green stamp set.
I made the ribbon flowers with Pool Party ruffled ribbon and added a few leaves from the Bird Builder punch and some pearls. Calypso Coral  mats are from the In Colours designer paper stack and a tiny ruffle of Pool Party ribbon along the bottom. The sentiment is from the Curly Cute stamp set, layered on to  the reverse side of the designer paper!!

Happy Birthday, have a fabulous day Sarah-Jane!!!

Everything Eleanor

I really need to spend tomorrow catching up on my Stampin' Up! business. I have quite a few projects made waiting to be photographed so I can update my blog properly along with organising some paperwork.

After having a look through my pictures tonight I found this pretty card I made a few weeks ago using the current European exclusive stamp set Everything Eleanor.

I used some Bashful Blue paper stamped with the gorgeous swirl from the set in Marina Mist, the lovely shape was stamped with Bashful Blue ink, cut out and layered up with dimensionals.  The flowers are stamped on to Pretty in Pink card with Rose Red ink and Whisper White card with Calypso Coral ink, I cut out the flowers and lightly curled the edges with a bone folder and added a pearl to the centre. Finally a lovely bow tied with some now retired Marina Mist satin ribbon.

This is the inside of my card, lightly edged with a Bashful blue swirl.

I'm off to make another coffee before making a start on a few new projects for my classes - new dates should be available from tomorrow.

Outlined Occasions

Today I have some more cards using the FREE Sale-a-Bration stamp set Outlined Occasions.

I stamped the greeting on to Whisper White card with Basic Grey ink, then I used a Stampin' Up! blender pen with Tempting turquoise and Melon Mambo markers to blend the colours together in the middle where they meet. I mounted it on to some Basic Grey card and used the Scalloped Trim punch along the bottom with some gems to add a bit of bling, the background is stamped in Melon Mambo with the Confetti stamp set.

For this card I used Crumb Cake for the base and stamped the lower half with the hearts from the Confetti stamp set and coloured some of them with the markers. I tied some gorgeous spotted ribbon in Cherry Cobbler and tied it with Linen thread. I coloured the greeting with a Cherry Cobbler marker, using a blender pen to fade out the colour, I punched it out with the Extra Large Oval and cut out an embossed frame made with the fabulous exclusive Designer Frames embossing folder.

Don't forget you can still add this stamp set to your collection FREE with an order of £45 or more!!  The Sale-a-Bration products are not available to buy in any of the catalogues and are only around for a very limited time!!

Later this morning I will be visiting a lovely group of ladies for a class, we will be making some cards suitable for men. I have to confess this was a little daunting as I don't make many cards for men but hopefully the ladies will all like what I have designed, I will share them later in the week!!

Everybunny needs "Everybunny"

I have been so involved in "colouring" in some of the super cute images from the Everybunny stamp set - I loved this cute stamp set as soon as I saw it in the new catalogue and of course I had to buy along with the matching wheel. Perfect for all of those Easter cards I plan to make this year!!

Both of the cards I have to show you today have a "vintage" feel to them.

This card is really pretty and uses some of the gorgeous FREE Everyday Enchantment papers. I stamped the  cute bunny on to Crumb Cake card coloured it with the marker pens, I cut out the bunny and mounted it on to some Confetti Cream card - it has tiny flecks in the card.
I added some gorgeous crochet trim and a crumpled double bow made from some Baja Breeze seam binding with an Antique brad in the centre.

Another Crumb Cake card base with some spotted Rose Red paper, a gathered ruffle of Rose Red seam binding and more crochet trim. The bunny is stamped on to very Vanilla card and coloured with Stampin' Up! marker pens, then lightly "aged" with a sponge dauber and Crumb Cake ink.  I used the exclusive Designer Frames embossing folder and cut off the Very Vanilla raised edge and  made a second one in Regal Rose. The sentiment is stamped in Rose Red ink and punched out with the Word Window punch and the Designer Label punch, the flowers are punched from a scrap of paper with the Itty Bitty punches.

Sprinkled Expressions

Much later in the week than I had planned I have some cards to share with you made using the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set.

This card uses the lovely flower image from the set, I used it for the background and the focal point of my card, the colours are Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder, with some matching ruffled ribbon - I do love this ribbon!!  The flowers are punched with the Itty Bitty punches and a few gems for a bit of sparkle!

For this card I stamped the heart in Real Red and Marina Mist, the sentiment is coloured with the matching marker pens, then punched and layered with different circle punches, I added a strip of Real Red satin ribbon.

Both cards are really quick and simple to make,

If you would like to add this set to your collection - email your order of £45 before 30th March and you will get this set FREE - Sale-a-Bration is a great time to buy your Stampin' Up! goodies as you can get a FREE stamp set or pack of 12 x 12 designer paper for every £45 you spend!

More Spice Cake........

I have a few more projects today using the gorgeous Spice Cake papers.
I have been making an effort to keep my desk tidy, as no matter what I do there is always a pile of "stuff" so maybe some new storage is needed?!

This little chest was painted around the edges before I added different strips of yummy Spice Cake papers. The edges are sponged with Crumb Cake ink to give an "aged" look. I used my crop-o-dile to make the holes for the Pool Party ruffled ribbon handles.

A quick peak inside - shows its the perfect place to keep my embossing powders, glitters, shimmer paints, jumbo buttons ect.. ect......

A have altered a jumbo peg to match, it perfect for keeping my scribbled template together when I'm busy making new projects. Its a great way to use some smaller scraps of paper.

To complete this part of my organisation is my lovely new note book.  It was a bargain!! Just £2 from Asda!!!  I covered the front and back of the book with different Spice Cake papers, inking the edges to give a "worn" finish. I cut two Top Note shapes one in Pool Party and one in Soft suede I only used an accent strip of this one and then added some strips of pearls. The gorgeous scrolled note is stamped with the Notably Ornate stamp set and cut out, I added some splodges with a stamp from the French Foliage stamp set. A little scrap of Crochet Trim and Pool Party ruffled ribbon was tied around the spirals, I also changed the tabs to Pool Party card, so everything matched perfectly.

I plan to get some more projects photographed this week, so I will share them as soon as I get a minute - its going to be a busy week as its half term and I have several appointments with Philip.

Elementary Elegance

I really love the new stamp sets available FREE with any purchase over £45 throughout the Sale-a-Bration offer from Stampin' Up!

Today I have two very similar cards made with the Elementary Elegance stamp set and the Curly Label punch fits the centre of the frame perfectly!

I used Pretty in Pink card for my base along with some Pretty in Pink paper, the background is stamped with Regal Rose ink.  I also used Regal Rose ink to stamp the gorgeous detailed frame on to Whisper White card, then I stamped the "Happy Birthday" and used the Curly Label punch, layering it up with dimensionals. I added a tiny punched flower with a gem in the centre and added a bow using Whisper White ribbon.

I seem to be adding a decorated inside to most of my cards, this is a really quick and easy one, using the tiny butterfly from the stamp set.

This card uses some of the gorgeous paper that can be found in the Tickets and Tag's Simply Scrappin' kit.
I used Basic Black ink to stamp the design with and gave it an "aged" look with Crumb Cake ink. Some gorgeous Very Vanilla velvet ribbon and a "flat" bow to finish this card.

Another "quick" inside with the butterfly stamped in Basic Black ink.  The card base is Poppy Parade.

If you would like to get your hands on this stamp set just email your order of £45 or more to me (you get a free item for EVERY £45 you spend) - delivery is just £1 if you can collect from me or £4.95 delivered directly to you, no matter where you live in the UK.

Creative Elements

Here is another card I made with the Creative elements stamp set.
I think this card has a lovely "vintage" feel with the edges of the First Edition paper and the Designer Frame inked lightly with Crumb Cake ink using a dauber.

I used Basic Grey ink to stamp everything as it gives a "softer" look than black ink. I cut out the butterfly and the scroll frame and used brads to hold the sentiment in place. I added a double bow made with some Crumb Cake Seam Binding and a Vintage Brad.

Little Princess

Here is a card I made for one of Philip's friends this week.

This is the first time I have inked this cute Little Princess stamp set - it was a set I received at Convention last year. I used my Stampin' Up! markers to colour her and I paper pieced the top of the dress. The colours are Pool Party, Pink Pirouette ad Whisper White, I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder for the background, some ruffled ribbon and a tag.

Mystery Hostess Workshop

Today was my "Mystery Hostess" workshop and 18 lovely ladies joined me to make some pretty projects using the Fresh Vintage stamp set and the Everyday Enchantment papers - both of them are exclusive to the Sale-a-Bration promotion.

Grab a cuppa and have a look at the fabulous afternoon crafting we had today.

Here is everything set up, my friend and downline Liz helped me to get everything ready today and we had "just" finished as everyone arrived.

This is the gift I made everyone, I used the Sizzix exclusive Candy Wrapper die to make these little boxes and filled them with some mini cream eggs.

These are my displays made with new products from the Spring Mini Catalogue.

This is my favourite with my gorgeous Spice Cake projects.

This display shows the Sale-a-Bration cards and projects I have made.
I will show more of them on my blog over the next week.

We made two cards and mini purse, suitable for a small gift or as a nice way to give money as a present.

The colours are Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla.

The gorgeous ruffled ribbon and spotted brads co-ordinate perfectly.

Here is Liz,  Margaret and Isobel busy making their projects.

I baked cupcakes and cookies but didn't manage to get any more pictures as the batteries in my camera gave up!  Everyone had a lovely time, and at the end of the afternoon I made the draw for a lucky person to spend the Hostess Rewards in the catalogue.

Congratulations Barbara!!

The date of my next workshop is Saturday 28th April, places are limited and booking quickly, so if you would like to join me please contact me to book your place.

The theme of the next workshop is "Its a Celebration" as there are so many "once in a lifetime" celebrations happening in the UK this year, we have the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics.  I do think it is certainly a year to celebrate!!!

Another Vintage Gift Set

Here is another vintage gift set made with more of those fabulous Everyday Enchantment papers.
When I saw this design in the pack I knew exactly what i wanted to save them for!!

A fabulous gift bag - you can get the tutorial here. I used some fabulous Vintage brads on the handles, I think I have lost count of how many pots of these I have now used!!

A close up of the tag, the flowers are made from a circle cut and shaped to form a rose - I love making them, they are so easy and can be made from your scraps too. The leaves are from the Bird punch.

This is the matching card I made, the paper is the reverse of the bag. The frame is embossed with the Designer Frames Embossing folder, I distressed and tore the edges, the Extra Large Oval punch fits the centre perfectly. I coloured "create" with various Stampin' Up! markers, the swirls are also from the Creative Elements stamp set. I finished the card with a crumpled bow of Crumb Cake Seam Binding and a Vintage Tag.

Here they are together.  I think they will be perfect for a crafty gift!
