Well at last I can share the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue!!!  

There are so many fabulous new products in here!!  My favourites have to be the Sweet Pea papers, stamps and felt flowers which are beautiful!!  I also love the gorgeous Vintage Vogue stamp set, this one is going to be so popular, look out for my posts using this set, I know you will love it!!  Then there's Fox and Friends, fantastic value at just £14.95 for 7 stamps and not forgetting Dasher, he is a must have so you can make an early start on your Christmas preparations!!!  I could go on and on  .................

Truly Scrumptious Challenge 29 ......

This week at Truly Scrumptious we have a great new sketch for your inspiration, with the optional theme of

"Fly Away".

I have used my new Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and matching punch from Stampin' Up! ( today is the last day to take advantage of the perfect pairs promotion and save 20% off the matching punch).

I have used some more of the beautiful new Sweet Pea designer papers (available to order from the new mini catalogue from 1st April)  there are so many beautiful designs!!  I have used Taken with Teal card,stampingthe small flower on the background with a versa mark pad.

Your Next Stamp Challenge 13 ......

                                       It is time for the new challenge at Your Next Stamp!! 
     The challenge is set this week by owner Karen, she has chosen "Purple" to celebrate the new colour  
                                               of the rubber stamps at Your Next Stamp!!!

I have used Bad Hair Day Fhiona, she is just so cute with those bunny slippers, purple is not one

of my usual colours but I am happy with this card.

Sweet Pea Sneak Peak ......

Well I just couldn't wait any longer, so I have decided to show you some of the beautiful new products available from 1st April in the new Stampin' Up! mini catalogue!!!

This is my favourite range Sweet Pea, there are double sided papers in the most beautiful colours, you are going to see a lot of these papers, the felt flowers are amazing and excellent value too!!  I know I will have to stock up on them!!! 

I have used whisper white, pretty in pink and rose red card to compliment these beautiful papers.  The Sweet Pea paper stack is excellent value, just £19.95 for 48 double sided 12x12 sheets.

Orange and Lime .....

These are the cards I made on Friday to show at my open house/workshop.  I had made the lovely

 lime card last week and cut everything  ready to make the orange card.

I have used the Tart and Tangy stamp set from Stampin' Up!  The background is stamped using a versamark pad, and the white card has been coloured using the Stampin' Pastels, matted on a piece of kraft card.  I have used the matching ink pad to stamp two more and cut them out and raised them using diamensionals. I have used the beautiful Stampin' Up! ribbon to match the colours, the Lime is "Old Olive and the Orange is "Pumpkin Pie", this ribbon is so soft and ties into gorgeous bows.

Anyone for Chocolate .......

No need to ask me about chocolate, I love it!!  I have to say my favourite Stampin' Up! colours are chocolate chip and kraft, perfect inspiration for this chocolate gift set!!

I have used kraft  for the cards, along with chocolate chip card, ink  grosgrain ribbon in chocolate chip and very vanilla.  I have used A beautiful Thing stamp set, circle punches round scallop punch, versamark ink pad, clear brads and twine.

I have filled the mini pail with yummy caramel buttons, don't know how long I can leave them in there I may have to get some more soon!!

Almost ready for my Workshop / Open House event on Friday night I can't wait to set everything out and show some more of my samples using some of the fabulous Stampin' Up! products

 I have just got in my starter kit!!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge 28 ......

There is a new sketch for Challenge 28 at Truly Scrumptious, with the optional challenge to create a

'quilt effect' background.  As always there is a fabulous prize on offer

 this week for the lucky winner.

I have to confess that I do love this sketch but I have struggled for inspiration for the "quilt effect" so I have just added some faux stitching around the blue mat and kept everything plain and simple. Sentiment is from

Stampin' Up! there are greetings for all occassions in the "Circle of friends" set.

Your Next Stamp Challenge 12 ......

It is time for a new challenge at Your Next  Stamp, this week's challenge has been chosen by starlet Cabio!!

The challenge is "Distressing".

Usually I avoid distressing my papers, it is definately something I am not comfortable with.  I have distressed the edges of the paper and sanded the card, using Stampin' Pastels to distress the white card.

Stampin' Up! Samples Again .......

This is another set of samples I have made ready for my Stampin' Up! workshop next Friday, it is an open house event, so if you live in my area please contact me, you are welcome to come along.

   I have used the Trendy Trees stamp set.  I have kept the designs clean and simple, using chocolate chip and old olive card stock, ink, grosgrain ribbon and of course I had to use some kraft card stock too!!  The oval scalloped punch and stamped sentiment are part of this months Perfect Pairs promotion.

                                        

Anyone for Anya Guest Designer ...

There is a new challenge at Anyone for Anya, this week the theme is "Spring Fever".  I have chosen to use use Spring colours for my card, as they are so bright and chearful!!  I found the bright pink ribbon in my stash, the sentiment is Stampin' Up.  You can see the beautiful cards fron the design team here, I'm sure they will inspire you and brighten your day.
